Parsons vessels are manufactured from:

Other standards such as ASME X and DVS 2205 are also available on request.

Chemical storage regulations

Parsons UK is here to help you reach compliance with your chemical storage. Dangerous chemicals, including acids and flammable liquids, are large hazards in the workplace, and improper storage can lead to environmental damage, injuries and even death. This is why it’s important to maintain compliance with chemical storage regulations. It is the employer’s responsibility to make sure that employees are probably trained and educated with regard to the safe storage of dangerous chemicals.

The name of the regulation that applies to this is “COSHH” or, “Control of Substances Hazardous to Health”. The employer must put in place a risk assessment to reduce the possibility of accidents, and make sure employees are trained to the standard of safe practices and what to do in an emergency.

Additionally, the employer must to an (at least) annual check of every single storage container and hazardous chemical in the workplace. Each container must be properly maintained and not damaged, and every single chemical should be properly labelled.
